Weatherization
Tillamook PUD offers residential customers who use electric heat, a weatherization program with rebates and/or loans for ENERGY STAR® replacement windows/sliding doors, and ceiling, floor, exterior wall, and duct insulation measures.
Tillamook PUD will perform a free energy audit on the residence to determine eligible measures for the home. Insulation of ceilings, floors, walls, ducts, and ENERGY STAR replacement windows are among the measures that may be recommended. After the audit, Tillamook PUD will send the customer an energy analysis. The following rebates are available:
SITE BUILT HOMES
Rebate: $6.00 per sq. ft. - no cap
(window sizes may be increased to meet egress in bedrooms)

MANUFACTURED HOMES
ENERGY STAR® Replacement Windows U-Value .30 or less
Rebate: $6.00 per sq. ft. - no cap
(window sizes may be increased to meet egress in bedrooms)

(HOMES MUST BE ELECTRICALLY HEATED TO QUALIFY)
In addition to the rebates, qualifying customers may borrow funds at 5% interest for up to five years. Any rebate amount will be deducted from the loan amount requested. The customer will submit a loan application and supporting materials, receive bids for recommended work from approved contractors and receive authorization from the PUD to proceed. To qualify for a rebate or loan under this program, an audit must be done PRIOR to any work being completed. The PUD will inspect the measures after installation.
